The dump.

A page for all the poor lonely misfits in the collection. It is a harsh life (or should that be death???).

Partially silicified regular echinoid from the lower chalk - AKA The Tractor Tyre.

This handsome fellow was found lying on the surface of a field in Tarrent Monkton, Wiltshire. He is the flattened internal cast of a regular echinoid. To get an idea of what he looked like in life, I would recomend you visit Robert Randells excellent Chalk.discoveringfossils site here: http://www.chalk.discoveringfossils.co.uk/ECHINOIDS.htm#OTHERS
